At Clean Slate, we're committed to doing our part to create more sustainable practices. Every product is thoughtfully crafted, and we believe the vessels that hold them deserve more than a single use.
Our Candle Jar Recycling Program gives your empty Clean Slate candle vessels a second life by allowing us to inspect, sanitize, and reuse them whenever possible. Together, we can reduce waste, conserve resources, and make a meaningful impact—one Clean Slate product at a time.

Step 1: Burn It Down
Enjoy your candle until there is approximately ¼ inch of wax remaining.
Step 2: Clean Your Jar
Remove any remaining wax and wipe the jar clean. Please remove labels if possible.
Step 3: Drop It Off
Bring your empty Clean Slate candle jars to our Farmers Market booth at Hurkamp Park in Fredericksburg, VA on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month (June - Oct),
9am - 1pm.
Step 4: Jar Inspection
Our team will inspect each jar to ensure it is suitable for reuse. Jars that are cracked, chipped, or heavily damaged cannot be accepted.
